About the Artist/ Studio

At Hand of Man Studio, Jeremiah “Maya” Kern, is the lead glass artist.  He successfully transformed his fascination with fire into a career in art glass. Jeremiah's early pyromaniac tendencies led him naturally to flameworking in 2005. His unique creations are inspired by his love for minerals, plants, and natural patterns.  He has shared his love of the flame with over 20 apprentices in his shop, and many, many more in small groups and at schools.  He has spread his love of glass art to the public in multiple on-site glass demos at openings, festivals, afterparties, and other public events. We invite people of all ages and experience levels to come join us for a workshop or flameworking lesson anytime!
