Make a Memory

Our most popular class for individuals as well as groups. Spend an hour with an experienced glass artist making an item of your choice: pendant, marble, small vessel, magic wand, or pen.

Introduction to Borosilicate

This class is focused on teaching the fundamentals of borosilicate flamework.  In a 2-hour 'crash course,' you will be introduced to the many facets of the borosilicate shop and borosilicate flamework.  You will be informed about safety both in the shop and when handling material.  Demonstrations and instruction provided cover the fundamentals needed to advance into glass art production.

  ***Up to three sessions' cost can be applied to a full apprenticeship***  Group number limited to 2 per session per artist.

Apprenticeships

We offer one-to three- month apprenticeships to the general public.  No experience is necessary, but we HIGHLY recommend taking our Introduction to Borosilicate class before deciding to take a full apprenticeship. 

 

All apprenticeships include:

  • 30 Hours of artist instruction per month

  • 24 hour shop access for practice

  • Basic tools included for use

  • Sufficient raw material included

  • TONS OF FUN

  • A UNIQUE SKILLSET
