Make a Memory
Our most popular experience for individuals as well as groups. Spend your choice of a half hour or an hour session with an experienced glass artist, and assist in making an item of your choice:
30 minute session $50/ person;
1 hour session $80/ person
Available for fusing (coldworking, no flame or torch required) and hot glass (melting glass with a torch)
Introduction to Borosilicate
This class is focused on teaching the fundamentals of borosilicate flamework. In a 2-hour 'crash course,' you will be introduced to the many facets of the borosilicate shop and borosilicate flamework. You will be informed about safety both in the shop and when handling material. Demonstrations and instruction provided cover the fundamentals needed to advance into glass art production. $150.00 per person/ session
***Up to three sessions' cost can be applied to a full apprenticeship*** Group number limited to 2 per session per artist.
Apprenticeships
We offer one-to three- month apprenticeships to the general public. No experience is necessary, but we HIGHLY recommend taking our Introduction to Borosilicate class before deciding to take a full apprenticeship. Glass artistry requires strong dedication and self motivation, so only very serious candidates will be considered.
